主机 (zhǔ jī) is typically used to refer to the mainframe of a computer. It is usually used in the context of computer hardware, such as when discussing the components of a computer system. For example, one might say: “这台电脑的主机是Intel的 (Zhè tái diànnǎo de zhǔ jī shì Intel de) - The mainframe of this computer is Intel.”

In technical English, “the mainframe of the computer is X” isn’t usually correct because mainframe usually refers to a type of computer system design and not a component of a computer. Based on other usage I find, it seems that in this case 主机 means CPU. But the confusion comes from the fact that 主机 can be used for several English words including CPU and mainframe, but also some other specific cases in electronics such as a master device on a data bus (as opposed to a 从机 slave device) using a master-slave design even when the devices involved are too simplistic to be considered CPUs or MCUs.
