你呢 (nǐ ne) is used to ask someone about their current situation or state of being. It is often used as a polite way to ask someone how they are doing, or to inquire about their opinion on a certain topic. For example:
1. 我最近过得还可以,你呢?I'm doing well recently, and you?
2. 我喜欢这本书,你呢?I like this book. What about you?

1. In a conversation with a friend or acquaintance: When catching up with someone, you can use 你呢 to ask about their well-being or what they have been up to. For example, 你好吗?(nǐ hǎo ma?) means "How are you?" and you can follow up with 你呢?to ask "How about you?"
2. In a group setting: When in a group, you can use 你呢 to ask for someone's opinion or response after sharing your own. For example, if you say 我觉得这个想法很好。(wǒ juéde zhè ge xiǎngfǎ hěn hǎo.) meaning "I think this idea is good," you can follow up with 你呢?to ask "What do you think?"
3. When making plans: When making plans with someone, you can use 你呢 to ask about their availability or preferences. For example, if you say 我们明天去看电影吧?(wǒmen míngtiān qù kàn diànyǐng ba?) meaning "Let's go watch a movie tomorrow," you can follow up with 你呢?to ask "How about you?"
