稍后 (shāo hòu) is used in everyday conversation to refer to a short period of time in the near future. For example, someone might say "我稍后会回来" (wǒ shāo hòu huì huí lái) which means "I will come back in a little while". It can also be used to refer to a later time in the day, such as "我今天稍后会去超市" (wǒ jīn tiān shāo hòu huì qù chāo shì) which means "I will go to the supermarket later today".
