们 (men) is used after personal pronouns or certain nouns to denote plural. For example, 我们 (wǒmen) means "we" or "us" and 你们 (nǐmen) means "you (plural)".
们 (men) is also used after the profession to stand for people of the same kind. For example, 老师们 (lǎoshīmen) means "teachers".
In contrast, 的 (de) is used to indicate possession or to link two nouns together. For example, 我的书 (wǒ de shū) means "my book" and 张老师的课 (Zhāng lǎoshī de kè) means "Prof. Zhang's class".
