而且 vs 况且:

1. 而且 indicates progression and it connects adjectives, verbs, adverbs or clauses. 而且 often pairs up with 不但，不只，不光:
Examples:
- 这件衣服不但漂亮，而且很便宜。 [phr] This outfit is not only beautiful but also cheap.
