前面 (qiánmiàn) is used to refer to something that is in front of the speaker or the person being spoken to. For example, if someone is walking down a street and they want to point out a shop that is in front of them, they might say "前面有一家商店 (qiánmiàn yǒu yījiā shāngdiàn)". It can also be used to refer to something that has already been mentioned in a conversation. For example, if someone is talking about a plan and they want to refer back to something they said earlier, they might say "前面我们说过 (qiánmiàn wǒmen shuōguo)".
