Hi! You must be referring to these two entries in the dictionary: 星期天 (xīng qī tiān) and 星期日(xīng qī rì). Both mean "Sunday" and you can use either of them.

To indicate which day of the week it is, you can use the Chinese word 星期天 (xīngqītiān) which means "Sunday". For example, you can say "今天是星期天 (jīntiān shì xīngqītiān)" which translates to "Today is Sunday". To refer to other days of the week, you can use the other Chinese words for the days of the week such as 星期一 (xīngqīyī) for Monday, 星期二 (xīngqī'èr) for Tuesday, 星期三 (xīngqīsān) for Wednesday, 星期四 (xīngqīsì) for Thursday, 星期五 (xīngqīwǔ) for Friday, and 星期六 (xīngqīliù) for Saturday.
