2. In certain structures, e.g. "一 ...都 ..." or "什么都..." we only use "没有".
Example 1: 屋里一个人都没有。There is no one at all in the room.
Example 2: 除了身上的衣服，他什么都没有了。 Except for the clothes on him, he has nothing else.
In these sentences above, we cannot use 没 to replace 没有.
