建军节 (jiànjūn jié) is a national holiday in China that falls on August 1st every year. It is also known as Army Day and is a day to commemorate the founding of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in 1927.
Example 1: 明天是建军节，我们要去参加阅兵式。(Míngtiān shì jiànjūn jié, wǒmen yào qù cānjiā yuèbīng shì.) Tomorrow is Army Day, we are going to attend the military parade.
