稍微 vs 一点儿
1. 一点儿 (phrase) and 稍微 (adverb) can appear in the same phrase/sentence.
E.g. 稍微剪一点儿。 [phr] Just cut a little.
2. When they are not in the same phrase/sentence:
- 一点儿 appears after adjectives or verbs. 稍微, as an adverb, is used before adjectives or verbs.
- 一点儿 can be used before a noun to indicate quantity; 稍微 cannot be used in this way.
