陆续 (lùxù) is commonly used to describe a process that happens one after another, successively. For example, 他们陆续抵达了 (tāmen lùxù dǐdá le) means "they arrived one after another". It can also be used to describe a series of events that happen over a period of time, such as 我们陆续收到了他们的消息 (wǒmen lùxù shōudào le tāmen de xiāoxi) which means "we received their news successively".
