问好 vs 问候

1. 问候 can be a noun; 问好 cannot. E.g. 一声问候 [phr] a greeting
2. 问好 can literally mean saying "hi" or "good morning" to someone in person. 问候 is more formal and more abstract than that. 问候 can involve other questions, e.g. how have you been, how's your job, how's your health, etc.
