On the Android app the audio downloads and stays on the device, whereas on the iPad app the audio seems to need to download every time. It would be a lot easier and better not to need an internet connection to use the iPad app properly!
Thank you!

Both apps (should) behave in the same way:
The audio for flashcards (that you have selected to belong to your own vocabulary lists) is downloaded once and stays on the device. This is the case both for Android and iOS apps. On the other hand if you are using the dictionary or provided lists and then listen to one vocabulary entry that is not in your flashcards, that audio will not remain on the device (i.e. will be replaced by any new audio you are listening to). |

I am using my word lists only and and ipad requires to download them every time.
The audio for each word/phrase of your vocabulary is only downloaded once onto the iPad. This happens either immediately when you add a new word to your vocabulary, or if you selected not to download the audio each time a new word is added (in the Settings) then at the time you synchronize your app with our servers (called "Update Cards") which happens when you press the top right button of the app. |
