Question

I've been using your apps with the free subscription and I want to find out more about paid, but I'm confused about how it works.

The subscription is for using the apps, correct?  The lists are something different - it's the content that I'd be able to access immediately for use on the apps and website.

If I decided to buy a set of, let's say, 10 lists for 3 month subscription, would I have access to the apps for the three months of subscription but would be purchasing permanently those 10 lists to use forever?

What if, after my subscription is over, I want to add more lists but not use the apps anymore?  Would I keep my original 10 lists?  If I bought another 10, would that bring the total to 20 lists that I own and can use afterwards?  Would I need to buy another subscription or could I just buy additional lists?

I hope that's not confusing.

During the subscription time you can use the full version of our apps:
- Trainchinese without limitations on number of words added
- Pinyin Trainer
- Chinese Writer
- Audio Trainer
- Number Trainer

Lists are purchased to store your own vocabulary, any lists you purchased are yours forever (even after a subscription time ends) So you can include vocabulary there that you still can train after the subscription has ended.
Any non-used space (lists not used, lists not filled) can be used up also after the end of the subscription - But at a lower rate as a normal user is limited to 10 words/week.

If you decide to purchase additional lists the purchased ones are added to the ones you already own. So if you already have 12 lists (2 provided with your registration and 10 purchased) and you buy another 10 then you end up with 22.

Hope that answers all aspects of the question, if I missed something let me know!

\"During the subscription time you can use the full version of our apps:

I am confused by the sentence quotes above.
I have a subscription and a set number of lists
When I try to add a word-flashcard from the dictionary (or word-flashcard from an existing user list), it can only go into a list. How are there no limitation on words added?

I see no other way to \"add words.\"  Add to what? Where? How?
My apologies for probably overlooking instructions somewhere.

I could not make out exactly where the sentence you cited above comes from (seems not from our website), In any case we tried to be as clear as possible on the Subscriptions and Lists (particularly on the pages where users decide to buy) so I am sorry if it is confusing!
Will try to explain it here - let me know if you should have questions or if you feel something is misleading!

There are two constrains to consider:
1) The number of words that can be added to any personal vocabulary list is limited to 100 words per list. The number of lists at your disposal depend on how many you purchased.
(You keep lists and the content of them forever, so that can be used and trained fully also after a subscription ends).
2) The pace at which words can be added (or also replaced) to personal lists is limited for users without a subscription. The limit is initially 25/week and then goes down to 10/week, during the subscription time there are no such limitations.

In the case you have a subscription, then you can add/modify words in your vocabulary lists at any time without being restricted by the weekly limit.

You can create new lists as long as the total number of lists does not exceed the number of lists you have purchased.

Regarding lists, if I buy a 3 months unlimited lists subscription, when subscription ends, will I have the chance to add 10 works/week in "unlimited" lists?

Yes -if you purchased unlimited lists, then you can create new lists even after the subscription time ends and add at a lower peace (10/week).
