Hi, I've tried importing words that were not present in the dictionary, they were checked and I received a message that they were added. The words do appear on my computer but not in the mobile trainchinese dictionary. I tried searching to add them manually but can't find them through search either. The audiotrainer app shows increase in cards number but when I go to the list there are no new words. What do I do?

Sorry, seems we missed this information in our mail! You will need to \"update Cards\" by pressing on the top right button to get them onto your phone.

Let me know if you find any (other) problem.

Yes, of course, I understand that. I've tried it several times yesterday and just tried again - it's still the same. Although I don't have a problem adding normal cards.

Could it be that the cards were added just now, then they are only available in English but not in Russian. Did you try the English version of trainchinese app?

Yeah I thought of that - I downloaded the English version today, but it doesn't show the new words either :( Could it be that the mobile dictionary hasn't been updated yet or something like that?

The local dictionary does not include the newly added words, they are loaded to the phone at the time of the synch. That works well (at least never had a problem before).
Can you let me know which word(s) are affected, then I can test it here?

some words can be searched in the mobile dictionary and some can't, for example these:

課外作業

人為的

家庭出身

各企業事業組織

I just tested and could reproduce the problem (the card just recently added was missing). I will need to investigate this. Assume it has something to do with the missing Russian translations but do not know yet.
Will need a couple of hours and then let you know.

The words have just been added to my lists (they appear in English in the Russian app). That happened after I tried moving one of the words to another list on my desktop. That might be just a coincidence though.

Also audiotrainer shows the correct number of words but they are not in the list.

Thank you for looking into this issue!

Found the problem: When a user first synchs it will store the result in a cache where it will stay in case a repeated synch is necessary.
The cache will be re-written if there is any change in the lists (ior after its expiration after 24hours).
In your case the first cache generated was the Russian version (so those words which had no English were not included), then the same cached data was sued in all the following synchs - until a change in the list structure was done (and a new cache was generated).

A very particular situation - we will make sure that it does not happen again (fix will be provided tomorrow)

We changed the way we use the cache so that Android users who are using the English and Spanish or Russian apps at the same time will always get the correct cached file.
