I'd like to ask a question about the words ordered by frequency. I'm confused by the distinction between "intermediate" and "medium". Can you tell me which words are more often used more frequently?

Hi,
the lists for Intermediate and medium were created well before we had the HSK lists, think it is better to follow the HSK lists for finding words based on the level. |

Thanks Klaus. However, I've found the high frequency word lists to be much more valuable than the lower level HSK word lists. I've just found too high frequency words so commonly used that it has really boosted my confidence working in a CHinese environment.
With your suggsetion though, I'll just complete the high frequency word lists, then focus more on the HSK word lists before coming back to check the medium and intermediate word lists for anything I won't have learned by then. Thanks
