This is a traditional chinese holiday to pay tribute to the deads. Normally, people will bring flowers and food to their ancestors'tombs. To maintain the graves, the weed around will be pulled and the dirt will be swept away, and sometimes a pine tree will be planted to bring shade to the grave and signal the future prosperity of their offsprings.
