In Chine nobody would really say "wo ai ni" (我爱你), the phrase "wo feichang xihuan ni" (我非常喜欢你) meaning "I like you a lot" is more often used. Also "wo xiang si ni" (我想死你) means this, but if you translate that phrase it means "I miss you like death"...
