I am building my vocabulary but my problem is understanding spoken Chinese. Are there any audio clips that can help me to learn to understand spoken chinese?

Our system includes the audio recordings of words and sentences.

If you are only interested into spoken Chinese, then we would suggest that you change your settings to cover  only: - Translation and Recognition (that is actually audio recognition).

As a selection of words and phrases, you can start by using the provided lists organized by student level (in your case Basic level).

thank you. I know that recordings are available. but listening to a single word pronounced clearly is very different from hearing a conversation in Chinese. I am looking for some recorded conversations to help me train myself in translating a conversation and understanding what is being said.

Trainchinese does focus on memorizing and recognizing words and phrases, we currently do not provide dialogs.
