i am not able to understand these flash cards because i am totaly unable to understand written and spoken chinese

If you are an absolute beginner with mandarin Chinese I would suggest that you download our pinyin trainer so you can train your ear to hear the difference in tones. From there you should check out our flashcards/dictionary. You can create your own lists to study from (we have lots of lists that are great for beginners). Study hard and soon it will all start to make sense! Good luck!
