I recently installed this on my htc evo phone and when I press the sound icon I don't hear anything. It says it's downloading the sound file, but I can't hear anything. The sound is on on my phone. Thanks.

Once the audio has been downloaded the loading screen will disappear. If you did not receive any warning message then the audio will play automatically. So if you did not get any warnings, then the most probable thing is that the audio level for our audio is not high enough.
Please take into account that the Android volume control is differentiating between different kind of sources. Could you toggle on the volume button at the time the audio is playing? That is the easiest way to make sure that the correct volume is set.

The problem was that the media sound on my phone settings was not turned up. All other sound settings were turned on. Thank you, and after two weeks I think I am finally good to go. Ignore my last email Klause, I was having lots of sign in and connection issues and have resolved them. |

I am experiencing the same issue with my HTC Desire, volume turned up to the max. Note, the sound did work in the past, I've only just noticed that it no longer works (last few months)

As mentioned above, Android allows for many different volume controls. It could be that just the kind of audio which we are using is set to low volume. So best is that you try to catch the moment audio is playing to step the volume up with the toggle. Please let us know at cs@trainchinese.com if that does not work. |
