I asked a question earlier (http://trainchinese.com/v1/a_user/qaReadQuestion.php?id=151&rAp=32425265140&time=2011-08-31+05%3A57%3A36), and I got an email today saying that someone had answered it. I didn't pay attention, and I clicked a link in the email thinking that it would bring me to the question (and the answer). Instead, I got a message that said that I was unsubscribed from receiving notifications about that question. How do I reinstate getting emails about that question?

Currently the system does only allow for the user to set the option to receive messages at the time the question is raised.
But your point is reasonable, authors of questions should have the option to change the settings so we will add that feature for a future update of the Q&A section of this site. Once implemented then users who posted a question can change the settings made on receiving alerts regarding the question they raised at any time just by opening the page of the relevant question. |
