I have noticed this with one flashcard, but it may happen with some others.  The card in question is 吃一堑长一智 - this text is shown correctly when viewing the dictionary entry, but only half the text is shown during training for Simplified Reading and also after the tapping middle  'show the answer' button at the bottom of the screen; I have sent screenshots to cs@trainchinese.com to illustrate the problem.
