Hi! I downloaded the writer and it looks like I should be able to put the words I'm trying to learn on trainchinese to the writer app. It says to touch the symbol for trainchinese on the main page. When I do, nothing happens. My sound button works, my question button works, but not my trainchinese button. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still no change. I only have 8 words so far loaded in, is it because I don't have enough or is there another problem? Thanks!

The trainchinese button will open a website. May be your phone has security checks that do not allow to open teh site form within the app. You could also access that site by using the following link:
http://www.trainchinese.com/v2/writer.php There is a tool that will allow you to create packs by copy-paste of chinese texts. On the other hand you can use the app itself to create packs and also to add characters to your packs: Tap on the current pack name (below the title "Character pack to play or browse" and then select "Custom packs" there you can add a new pack. Or select any of the ones you already have (select and then tap the thick OK mark at the top right). If you want to add characters to a pack, select "Browse" and then "Edit", at the top left will be a large + sign, tap on it and the you can search for characters. There is no limit on the number of packs nor on the number of characters in a given pack. |
