so I'm new here and I wanted to know if everything is free or is there like limits to what's free. I was using another website which was awesome but I was only on free trial then I would have to pay. My motto is never pay when I don't have to so I want to know if there are any payment necessary for anything. Tags: trainchinese website

On trainchinese you can use the dictionary and some content for free, some other content would require a payment. You may understand that a service like ours can not be completely free as we need to pay the development and maintenance.
Payment is necessary: - if you want to access premium vocabulary lists - if you want to use the flashcards extensively (i.e. are using more than 200 cards and want to add/ modify more than 25-10 cards per week. Payments are for a certain time period and the possibility to fill certain number private vocab lists. There is no automatic renewal - so you are in complete control of what you are using and paying, additionally even if the payment time (called subscription time) ends you still continue to have access to all teh material of your vocab lists, and can continue training that, One additional remark, as a paying user you get access to all the functions of our apps (similar as if you would have purchased them) That is for the Chinese Writer, audio Trainer, Pinyin Trainer and Number Trainer both for iOS and Android.

I am trainchinese user for now three years or so and I have a life time license, the trainchinese app, the audio trainer app, and the writer app. And I can tell you, it is really worth each cent I paid :-) I think this is the minimum I can do to thank Klaus and his team for the good job they are doing. You know it's not a big investment, and the guys and girls working to have this site and application running also need to get paid for their work, I think it's fair enough. They also have children at home, and for them too money is not falling done from heaven. I really don't understand why people think that SW should be for free. Writing SW is a job like any other, and requires quite high qualifications. Anyway, have a lot of fun with trainchinese, as I had all those years. HAPPY LEARNING |
